Dr. K. Shanmukha Sundar obtained his B.E. degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Mysore University in 1990 and his M.Tech in Power & Energy Systems from KREC (now NITK), Surathkal, Mangalore University in 1994. He earned his Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka State, India, in 2010. He has 32 years of teaching experience and has presented and published papers in both national and international conference proceedings and journals. He has successfully conducted three AICTE ATAL-sponsored Faculty Development Programs (FDP) and organized numerous workshops, conferences, and symposiums at various levels. Furthermore, he has delivered a multitude of technical talks at esteemed conferences and workshops. His research interests encompass Renewable Energy Resources, Smart Grid Technology, FACTS Controllers, Optimal Power Flow, Voltage Stability Studies, Control Systems, and Power System Optimization.
