1. IEEE Power and Energy Society Chapter of DSATM (SBC10123) was inaugurated on 30th March 2019 at the hands of Chief Guest Dr Kasi Vishwanadha Raju, Chair ,IEEE PES Chapter Bangalore Section. Mr. Rajashekar S, Chair Elect IEEE-PES, Dr Hariram Sateesh, Vice Chair IEEE-PES and Prof Abhishek Appaji, Membership Development Chair, IEEE-PES Bangalore were the Guest of Honors for the event, which was graced by Principal Dr B R Lakshmikantha, Dean Academics Dr Sumithra Devi K A and Vice Principal Dr C Nandini in the presence of the student branch counselor Nikshepa T, Execom members of the student branch chapter of DSATM.
1. IEEE Day-2021 was conducted on 5th October 2021, Students of 5th and 7th sem EEE also participated in the event. Some of the events like Pictionary, Technical Quiz, Memory were conducted by the Department for the Students
2. Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering organised “Energy Conservation Day” on 14th December 2021 as a part of IEE PES Energy Conservation Day, the following Events were organized Pencil Drawing, Technical writing, Idea Presentation .The Students of 3rd & 5th sem participated in the above mentioned Events
3. IEEE PES Day was celebrated, Many competition like Pictionary, Quiz, memory games, Debate, pick and speak was organized for 4th and 6th sem Students

2. Webinar on “Data Driven Techniques to Build Better Services” by Ms. Sonu Mehta, Senior Research Software Development Engineer, MicroSoft(Research) Corporation Inc., India Div was organized on 12th June 2021 for 4th , 6th & 8th sem students
3. Webinar on “Need to become Systems Engineer” by Dr. Yogananda Jeppu, Principal Systems Engineer (Retd. Scientist F,DRDL,NAL,ADA) Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., India Div was organized on 1st June 2021 for 4th, 6th & 8th sem students
4. Webinar on Electric Vehicle Charging- Wireless charging & Challenges by Mr. Rohith Kamath, System Engineer: Electric vehicles, VITESCO Technologies, India Div was organized on 29thMay 2021 for 6th & 8th sem students
5. Alma Connect Webinar Series 2021 was conducted on 29th May 2021, Ms. Dikshitha N, Software Engineer II, Lam Research addressed the 4th,6th &8th sem student about IT Skills required for EEE Students
6. Five Days Online Faculty Development Program On Next Generation Power Grid Technologies – A Future organize by Dept. of Electrical & Electronics Engineering in association with IEEE-PES Bangalore Chapter from 28th July 2020 to 1st August 2020
7. Dept of EEE organized a 5 day Faculty Development program on “Future & Emerging Trends in EE Systems with AI (ML), IIOT & Smart Grids” with National Instruments(USA)-VI Solutions (Bangalore) & IEEE(USA)-PES Bangalore Chapter, from 28th January to 1st February 2020 at DSATM
8. Workshop on Electric Vehicles and Internet of Vehicles by Geeks Lab Technologies for 3rd and 5thsem students on 24th,to 26th October 2019
9. 7th sem students Participated in ALL INDIA PES STUDENT Young Professional Women In Engineering CONGRESS held at Global Academy of Technology, Bangalore on 17th, 18th and 19th October 2019
Technical talk on “Technical talk on Industrial Automation Technologies” by Mr. Milind Tavre, Manager, Bosch-Rexroth Pvt. Ltd was organized and conducted on 9th May 2019 for the benefit of 4th, 6th and 8th sem students.
Technical talk on “Evolution of Platforms for Industrial Applications” was held on 06-05-2019 in department of EEE, DSATM by Dr. Hariram Sateesh, Principal Scientist, ABB India Pvt. Ltd & Vice Chair, IEEE PES Bangalore Chapter for 4th and 6th sem students
As a part of IEEE PES Student Chapter department of EEE, DSATM celebrated the PES Day Celebration and conducted many events like Technical Quiz, Technical Debate and Mini Project Exhibition for 4th , 6th and 8th sem students on 2nd May 2019.
The event was presided by Dr. B. R. Lakshmikantha, Principal, DSATM & Dr. Sumithra Devi, Dean Academics DSATM.
A seminar on Controls A System’s Perspective” was held on 27-04-2019 in department of EEE, DSATM by Sharath A, Lead Design Engineer, Control Systems, GE Bangalore, India .
